We had/are having a LAN party today/still, and it’s pretty fun. This leads me to the conclusion, that being a bit of a nerd/geek/whatever is now kind of cool. i mean, there’ probably about 10 of my friends who know what 4chan, is, and have at some point been on it. To futher this point, I’m currently sat in a room, with 4 computers around a table, and 2 other people (one of whom is playing Fallout 3). The amount of cabling is rather mental, and it’s a bit warmer than I’d like, though it’s not too bad.
So what’s with the whole “Nerds are cool” thing now. 2 or 3 years ago, I’d have been ridiculed for such acts of LAN partyness., so why is it suddenly a cool thing?
Ah well, not complaining really, just puzzling over it… I do think to much about these things…
On a completely different note, I just found a link to an 8-Foot felt squid someone had made, sat in my bookmarks from some time ago. It’s pretty cool.
